As the corporate landscape shifts to attract new young minds, companies are recognizing the importance of the working environment and spending accordingly. It's reported that Google spent over $70 Million to feed it's employees last year. Google even invites the families of employees to visit Googleplex when workers have to stay late. Not surprisingly, Google ended up in Valleywag's Tech's Top 10 Workspaces. All of these companies spend the dollars (or Euros) to spawn creativity in their employees but I think it has more to do with keeping people at the office later. I know I wouldn't mind working in some of these spaces. Check 'em out and when your done, see if your workspace looks more like these instead. ![]() |
