We used to play this game in the car on road trips where we would ask questions like, "If you could eat lunch with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be?" Well, that question is for another post and I'd love to know the answer, but another question was always, "If you could have any job in the world besides what you are doing now, what would it be?" I'm pretty sure Ben Southall would have a tough time answering this question because he seems to have found "The Best Job In The World."
Ben was recently appointed by Tourism Queenland as the new caretaker of an "Australian tropical island," a six-month position described as "the best job in the world." His new job requires him to live luxuriously and report from Hamilton Island, on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef where he receives a salary of approximately $111,000. Check out the strenuous responsibilities...
Sounds terrible. For more info or to apply as Ben's replacement six-months from now, hit up www.islandreefjob.com and also be sure to check out the video on the BBC. What about you? If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? And conversely, what job would you not take no matter how much they paid you?
