You don't see tarpaulin covered lorries here in the US much. But, when you're trying to pass one on a "1.5 lane" country road in the UK... believe me, you take notice. These things are huge with their bright colored adverts covering their precious cargo from the elements.
Well, Freitag is recycling these tarpaulins and turning them into some pretty sweet bags that protect your precious cargo (read laptop) from the elements. Check it...

FREITAG has been manufacturing bags and accessories for women and men since 1993. Our materials are used, having seen service on the road. They are well-travelled truck tarpaulins, unravelled seat belts, bicycle inner tubes beyond repair, recycled airbags. Tough stuff - which makes our products tough, too.
Every FREITAG product is made from original tarpaulins of different colours, markings and contours. So every FREITAG product is a one-off.

Check out Lance Armstrong's new digs for the Giro D'Italia by Shepherd Fairey and Kenny Sharf.
The world’s most prestigious cycling stage race after the legendary Tour de France, the Giro is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2009 and a lengthy run through several historic cities was designed to honor the event. Coincidentally this is also the only year Lance has ever entered the race, a historic first for the cancer crusading cyclist who broke his collarbone last month in a Spanish race. Lending their formidable creative talents to the challenge, Shepard and Kenny created two vastly different and utterly unique cycles to draw attention to Lance’s upcoming Nike backed "Stages" anti-cancer art show benefitting LIVESTRONG...
Looking foward to the Tour de France this July with Lance's comeback. Any other Tour watchers out there? Hit me back.

Italian denim brand Diesel keeps launching out in new areas. First their collab with Fiat and then the launch of a new furniture line. Now they are making the sexiest motorcycle helmets ever known to man right down to the Trademark Mohecan Crest right on top of the dome. The only thing you'd need on your bike are some missles and you'd be full-blown terra fighter pilot.
My personal fav is the white one below. Check out all the others as well as the incredible functionality that's built in.

I love shoes. I know that sounds like such a girl thing to say but I do. This is evidenced by the fact that two out of every three of my "drops" are pics of shoes on any given day. Like most people, I think the entire world should take up Burger King's mantra of "Have it your way." You may deny it but deep down, right or wrong, you feel the same way. That's why you thnk you sound saavy when you like to order your ever-so-customized-just-like-you-like-it latte at St. Arbucks.

My wife would pick the Mini Cooper S Clubman as her car of choice if given the chance. Honestly, I would mind either. I'd just have to convince her that British Racing Green with checkboard trim is indeed the way to go. But then I saw this...

I think we could rock that as a family. I'd be content to let her drive while Benaiah and I chill in the back and play Lego Star Wars on the Wii. I'm all over this. For more info and if you want to order one up for the Atchison family, hit it here. If not, check out the rest of the pics below.
